Job Description
ASCO Numatics, a part of Emerson Industrial Automation has an immediate need for a Sales Manager in the Mt Pleasant TN area.
This position will plan, direct and coordinate sales strategies for increasing sales and profits in the Actuator product line. Specific responsibilities include:
Working with Marketing personnel identify needs for new products, and product enhancements
Assist in the development of marketing plans
Visit customers and regional offices
Develop sales plans for all products, organize sales activities with distributors, coordinate activities with territory managers and execute sales efforts in those markets
Manage outside sales activities through coordination with ASCO Numatics Regional Directors
Administer distributor and direct sales force training activities on Actuator products
Develop sales proposals and quotes for large accounts
Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or Business. Master’s degree preferred. Must have the ability to travel at least 50%, extensive experience in Actuator products. Excellent MS Office and oral presentation skills.
