Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to the Accounts Receivable department and will support both the accounting roles for the slot operation at the Reno airport as well as roles within the invoicing and billing functions for Products Sales.
This position reports to the Accounts Receivable department and will support both the accounting roles for the slot operation at the Reno airport as well as roles within the invoicing and billing functions for Products Sales.
Responsibility includes but is not limited to performing audits of vault drops and other key log audits for our slot operation at the Reno airport, accurate and timely preparation of data and reporting to Nevada Gaming Board and annual financial statement review, as well as numerous other organizations both internal and external of IGT.
Provide support for intercompany billing activities related to parts, machines and other services. Responsible for the review and analysis of financial results related to the intercompany revenue of these products and services. Ability to provide variance analysis, regulatory compliance reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, foreign currency translation, etc., related to the intercompany activities.
Provides advanced analytical support in various accounting functions. Interprets accounting data, analyzes reports and recommends action to be taken. Prepares journal entries, maintains ledgers and accounting systems, reconciles and analyzes ledger accounts of moderate difficulty. Reviews and analyzes financial statements, and work compiled by lower level personnel. Develop and maintain relationships with internal business partners including but not limited to sales, finance, credit, casino service, customer service and global order fulfillment to ensure accurate revenue recognition and adherence to designed internal controls. This position will play a key role on special projects as required.
Job Requirements
- Ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills and possess a Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Accounting
- Two to five years of experience in accounting. Prior accounting experience with casino operations (a plus).
- Strong PC experience with emphasis on spreadsheet applications and prior experience with SAP (a plus).
- Knowledge of general accounting principles with emphasis on revenue recognition is a requirement.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and high-pressured environment which also includes flexibility to work non business hours schedules.
- Must be detail oriented team player, self-motivated and have strong organizational skills.
- Applicants for this position must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming License.
