Our client is an extremely prominent Fortune 500 automotive manufacturing company. Located in the Metro Detroit area this position is an excellent opportunity for a Program Manager to advance in their career! This is a senior position reporting to the Director of Global Program Management who is looking to fill this critical Program Management position as soon as possible.

As a Program Manager you will be responsible for working with customers and making sure the program is hitting time and budget requirements. You will be responsible for Conducting all phase and gate reviews. You will be responsible for product configuration, costs, performance, and manages the product program proactively to ensure timing and program team objectives are met for all customers.
Ideal candidate will have experience with GM and automotive components.

• Leads the Program team and new programs
• Manages the product program to ensure timing and program team goals
• Interfaces with Engineering, Customer and other departments as needed
• Conducts all phase and gate reviews
• Creates master program timing

Requirements for the Program Manager

• 5+ years as a Program Manager in the Automotive Industry (Prefer Tier 1/ Tier 2)
• Experience working with GM as a customer
• Automotive Mechanism or other complex product experience
