About the Job
This position is with the Walter Coke plant located in North Birmingham. The job involves working in a hot, dirty environment and working any days or hours needed. Days off may not be consecutive. Must be proficient with good verbal and written communication skills, and be able to pass a drug test, physical, and background check. Work preferences and copy of DD 214 (if veteran) are required.
Must have AC & DC motors and controls experience, as well as installing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment with completion of a 4-year apprentice program or equivalent experience.
