Job Description Business Title Microwave Communications Engineering Specialist Location CA-San Diego Division: Telecom Primary Purpose: Functions as a technical specialist or in a lead role. With minimal supervision, applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses for problems and methods. Expands knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Microwave path planning and design using Pathloss 5 software. Creation of construction drawings and specifications. Detail design of equipment installation for power, grounding, antenna lines and antennas. Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience. Proficiency using PathLoss 5 design software required. Must have experience in the design, planning, and implementation of reliable microwave network. Good written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Job Qualifications Utility Telecommunication design experience.
