Job: Applications Systems Analyst



Job Description

APPLICATION SYSTEMS ANALYST – Lanham, MD
Contract:  12 months

•         US Citizens Only

•         Analyst with TASIS experience and/or other IRS systems experience.
SCOPE OF WORK

•         Work products for TASIS PMO; the

•         Ensure the deliverables comply with the privacy, security, Enterprise, Architecture (EA), Enterprise Lifecycle (ELC), and Section 508 requirements.

•         Oversee TASIS transition support including, oversight of development efforts, legacy system data migration, and multiple interface development efforts.

•         Serve as subject matter experts for requirements, design, testing, and deployment of TASIS            for the IRS.

•         Support interfaces with IDRS, AMS, Documentum, Captiva, TAPS, and others including all technical changes required. The contractor shall support the customer’s transition management planning including execution of the rollout of IRS employees from legacy system to TASIS including all gaps identified.
TASKING

•         Reviewed the infrastructure, design, schedule, and other applicable plans for the Documentum and Captiva interface/solutions related to TASIS Release 1 and deliver a formal acceptance of the plan or provide written documentation of the required changes.

•         The Contractor shall facilitate meetings/discussions and prepares executive briefings and status reports for meetings the IRS customers, including executive customer reviews technical and business meetings, integrated project team meetings and other ad hoc meetings.

•         Prepares status reports/decks including health assessment and project dashboard reports used for internal meetings, facilitates ELC documentation activities and Lifecycle stage reviews and coordinates with IRS Process Owners as required. The Contractor shall serve as the Configuration Control Board (CCB) facilitator overseeing meetings, developing impact assessments, and preparing meeting materials.

•         Maintain the project integrated master schedule and work breakdown structure as well as any changes to the document and provide an impact assessment of any changes made.

•         Provide expertise in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Powerpoint.

•         Provide expertise in CMMI and ELC for IRS processes and procedures.

•         Follow the IRS Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) and be provided to the IRS using Microsoft Visio 2007, or Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Excel and IBM Rational suits of products.

•         Coordinate with Documentum and Captiva contractors and document technical ELC deliverables, work requests, and provides expert advice on TASIS Release 1 interfaces and data migration. Coordinates with Enterprise Operations and Enterprise Services counterparts, Entellitrak Configuration High Level Support, and facilitate the Technical Steering

•         Document test plans and results and coordinates High-Level Testing meetings. Coordinates all transition management documentation and activities, facilitates discussions and documentation of new and changed requirements for TASIS Release 1, ensures testing activities and documentation meet defined requirements, and facilitates meeting and captures requirements for TASIS Release 2.

•         Manage and maintain the content in project repositories, include Rational RequisitePro, Item Tracking and Control Repository (ITRAC).

•         Acceptance Testing, System Acceptance Testing, Interface Testing, Section 508 testing, Integration Testing, Security Testing, and Performance Testing.

•         Expertise in Section 508 software including JAWS, Zoomtext, and Dragon.



EXPERIENCE:

•         3-4+ Years experience Documentum and document management solutions.

•         Experience building distributed document-capture applications with EMC Captiva and OCR capabilities

•         2-4 Experience with JBoss and Linux Experience with Documentum database repository and EMC object relational model

•         3-4+ years’ experience using the Documentum APIs (e.g., DFC. DFS) to integrate third-party web applications (e.g., SharePoint) with Documentum.

•         A broad and current range of Documentum expertise to provide a second opinion on the optimum architecture for the solutions in multiple phases.

•         Experience with web-services and J2EE technologies such as JPA/hibernate and spring
