Major NYC Non Profit is seeking a Director of Lending.
The  organization aims to promote and protect affordable and sustainable homeownership in New York City, focusing on those neighborhoods hardest hit by foreclosure.
Position Description
The Director of Lending reporting to the Executive
Director, will be responsible for the direct homeowner support program
offerings. The organization strives to develop and implement new and/or expanded single-family homeownership preservation programs regularly.
 Directs portfolio management and continuously improves policies and practices,
Leads development (including design and implementation) of new single-family
lending programs;
Continually improves programs and processes to learn from peer institutions and
adopt best practices for lending and grant-making.
Explore opportunities for replication and growth and provide leadership in
developing new programs that build on the organization's successes.
Key responsibilities related to the Housing Mobility Program include:
Supervision of program coordinator;
Support and management of program development, launch, and marketing.

Lender
The DOL will lead the organization’s activities in the development of high level
relationships with lenders, servicers, and Government Sponsored Enterprises in
order to facilitate successful foreclosure prevention options. This individual’s primary
responsibility will be conceptualizing and directing strategic campaigns and partnerships
to increase access for the organization's network to servicing programs that prevent
foreclosures and stabilize NYC neighborhoods.
Key responsibilities related to the organization’s bank relationship strategy include:
Supervision of Lender/Servicer Program Manager  Oversight of key network programs related to lending and servicing, including
the Escalations Programs

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, Minimum 5 years experience in lending and loss mitigation;
Understanding of various alternative loan and grant funds
Familiarity with issues related to foreclosure and the subprime/credit crisis;
Knowledge and experience working with non-profit agencies;
