Job Description:
An industry leader in Industrial Manufacturing has an immediate need for a Production Planner in their Chattanooga facility. The Production Planner will be responsible for planning all shop floor production as well as planning models and certain projects.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning using level load fixed scheduling
- Communicate and coordinate with production supervisors
- Execute and work with production supervisors to ensure schedules are met
- Participate in continuous improvement related to production planning, inventory management and customer service
- Schedule replacement and repairs of tools as necessary
- Participate in inventory at the facility
Requirements:
- BS Required
- 3+ years Planning Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- APICS Certification
- Knowledge of ERP Software and JD Edwards
