Description:
Conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. Develop, enhance and maintain operational information and models to achieve short and long term operational and strategic business activities. Develop and implement effective, strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.
In this role, you will be involved with analysis related to risk adjustment and claims submission.
Responsiblities:
Apply understanding of health care industry trends and their drivers.
Apply knowledge of technology industry trends and tools.
Apply understanding of applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX) and corporate policies and standards.
Demonstrate understanding of the difference between business requirements and technical solutions.
Plan and Define Approach for Gathering Business Requirements.
Gather, Analyze and Define Business Requirements.
Document and Communicate Business Requirements.
Participate in and support the Solutioning Process.
Participate in and Support the Testing and Validation of Identified Solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience with Agile development methodology.
Strong business analysis skills, working in a matrix environment.
Understanding of risk adjustment services is a plus.
5+ year of experience in business analysis.
Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes required.
Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required.
Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures.
Knowledge and understanding of the Affordable Care Act and Health Insurance Exchanges is strongly desired.
Understanding of commercial health insurance markets desirable.
