Job: Audit Manager - CPA / CIA

Location: PA Job Description: A Kforce client is seeking candidates at the Audit Manager and Audit Group Manager level. These are stable positions with a growing company in the Greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) market. Job Description: The position will be tasked with planning and directing audits from the management level to ensure that the audit scope is sufficient to capture any issues and that those issues are properly addressed. The role is ideal for a Manager out the Big 4, a larger Regional Firm, or an Audit Manager out of the Financial Service Sector. Responsibilities: Lead or participate in the planning and execution of audits ensuring compliance with the company's audit methodology and timely delivery of the final Audit Report Manage a large team of senior audit professionals ensuring appropriate staffing and planning including the proactive development and management of bank resources Review audit findings with Management and report findings to the Chief Auditor and other personnel as appropriate Ensure all findings follow-up work is completed in a professional manner and within established time lines Track and manage deficiencies / findings and oversee validation work performed by the team to ensure timely closure of open findings Make recommendations for correcting unsatisfactory conditions, improving operations, and reducing department expenses Take part in a broader range of decision making within the Audit division to ensure the department's strategies are effectively communicated and executed The successful Audit Group Manager applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large Regional) CPA or CIA 8 or more years of related audit experience Experience with Basel is a huge plus In-depth knowledge of audit principles, practices, and governing regulations Ability to travel 20 to 30% More Info and Application
