Job Description:

An industry leader in Industrial Manufacturing has an immediate need for a Quality Engineer in their Indiana facility. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for enforcing safety regulations, following quality operating systems and preparing quality documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining quality operating systems
• Enforces safety regulations
• Represent the quality department for APQP
• Address any issues that arise in regards to quality testing
• Gauge products and review layouts
• Create quality documentation including, but not limited to, PPAP, PFMEA’S, Flow Charts and Control Plans
• Communicates with customers to ensure continuous improvement
• Assists in training associates for RDC, 8D’s and CARs
• Review and Process RMA’s

Requirements:

• BS degree and/or equivalent experience
• 4+ years’ experience in an Industrial Manufacturing environment
• Detailed knowledge of GD&T and blue print interpretation
• Must be able to communicate on a professional level with customers
• Must be able to supervise and provide leadership to fellow employees
