Job Summary
Responsible for recruiting qualified applicants for admissions to the Austin campus in accordance with state and federal accreditation and university policies and regulations, consistent with the highest ethical standards. The Admissions Representative/Assistant Director of Admissions (ADA) manages time and inquiry resources to achieve monthly application, and quarterly and annual enrollment plans. The ADA must conduct a high quantity of prospect phone contacts to secure weekly standard appointment set and interview activity, and to conduct follow-up activity with unresolved interviewees and future class applicants.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS: 1. Manage inquiries to achieve prompt contact and performance activity weekly goals; utilizes approved recruitment policies/formats; makes prompt and effective contact with inquiries and redirects unqualified candidates based upon incompatible career goals.
2. Secures new inquiries (Personally Developed Referrals) by directly asking phone and in-person contacts about referrals of others to contact about the Institutes offerings.
3. Schedules and conducts interviews, pursues qualified candidates for enrollment, and determines appropriateness of candidates for admission based upon career goal compatibility.
4. Achieves enrollment and start rate goals, and conducts all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. Adheres to all state, and federal accreditation and institute rules and regulations regarding student recruitment.
5. Accurately and completely portrays university educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial consideration to students, parents and educators. Accurately forecasts projected new students on a periodic basis for Campus Admissions Head.
6. Consistently conducts follow-up as required with all applicants to ensure successful matriculation. Assists other personnel and departments with data collection and problem solving.
7. Participates in appropriate recruitment and enrollment activities including: open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, etc.
8. Other duties as assigned.

1. Knowledge: a) Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required.
b) Minimum of 1-2 years admissions recruitment or non-durable goods sales experience.
