JOB PURPOSETo record, analyze and report on financial information to ensure completeness and accuracy of corporate finances. To maintain reconciliations and schedules to support financial data.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Manage the expense reporting and payment process by reviewing reports, researching and resolving issues, and processing batched expense reports for payment.
• Reconcile corporate bank statements.
• Perform variety of activities associated with the monthly accounting close to include review of accounts payable and accounts receivable entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, preparation of journal entries and financial statements.
• Preparation of Fixed Asset, depreciation, and lease schedules.
• Reconciliation of corporate travel account
• Preparation of financial analysis and reports as requested.
• Administrator for Timekeeping and payroll systems.
• Process semi-monthly payroll and preparation of related reports and remittances.
• Assist with annual reconciliation book prepared for outside accountants.
• Maintenance of Petty Cash Fund.
• Set-up and initiate ACH payments to vendors.
• Process weekly vendor payments.
• Preparation of worker’s compensation filings.
• Preparation of company client retention reports.
• Preparation of National Account Managers client retention reports.
• Assist with and present monthly financial forecast.
• Other related duties, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
• MAS 90 accounting system experience preferred, but not required
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Bachelors Degree required, with a concentration in Accounting
• Two years of experience in performing a variety of corporate finance and accounting work or related internship experience
• A combination of approved education and experience which would likely produce the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
• MAS 90 accounting system experience preferred, but not required
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Bachelors Degree required, with a concentration in Accounting
• Two years of experience in performing a variety of corporate finance and accounting work or related internship experience
• A combination of approved education and experience which would likely produce the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
