Position Title: Sr Linux System Administrator

Summary: The candidate Candidate shall support collections, analysis, and reporting of information to assist in the streamlining and improvement of the management of the Server and Desktop Operations resources under the responsibility the customer including changes to configuration management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Shall support collections, analysis, and reporting of information to assist in the streamlining and improvement of the management of the Server and Desktop Operations resources under the responsibility the customer including changes to configuration management.
2. Shall follow Government SOPs or Government approved Candidate developed SOPs, to ensure work is done correctly and to the standards of policies and procedures
3. Responsible for managing customer's infrastructure servers and clients, which require commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) software installed on servers and standardized desktops. These servers and workstations are attached to the UNCLASSIFIED, SECRET and SCI networks within the customer local and sites around the world.
4. Shall perform the majority of this work at the customer location in Suitland, Maryland, although IT technical server support may require the Candidate to travel to locations where servers exist outside of the customer site. Normal hours of service around the core period of 0830 to 1500
Monday thru Friday with the occasional requirement for evening or weekend work based on computer system availability or other operational requirements as directed by Government personnel.
5. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:
• Education: HS diploma
• Experience: 5 years with Red Hat Linux
• Computers: Microsoft Office (Word, PP, Excel),Linux
• Certificates: Security+ and Red Hat Certified system Admin
• Clearance: TS/SCI
• US Passport: Not required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Expert knowledge of RHEL and Knowledge UNIX/Solaris 10 or newer system administration.
• Excellent Written Communication skills.
