Job: Project Manager - Commercial and high-rise residential construction

About the Job

Atlanta based GC is searching for Project Manager for commercial and high rise residential construction projects. 
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer, APM, or PM with only a few years experience to advance into a key role on large construction projects.  

This position will be responsible for projects in Atlanta and possibly other locations in the Southern U.S. 

The initial assignment will be to manage the construction of 2 precast parking decks being constructed as part of residential high rise projects. 

This position will be responsible for all business aspects of the project, scheduling, pay requests, R.F.I's, change orders, working with the design team, subcontractors, field personnel, and maintaining an excellent relationship with the owner.

Some travel will be required when assignments are located outside Atlanta.   Per diem and housing costs are provided when out of town.
 
Reasonable relocation expenses to move to Atlanta will be paid.

Projects are located throughout the Southern U.S. and are typically $25M - $100M in value.


Qualifications Required:
At least 4 years post college experience working as an Office Engineer, Project Engineer, or Assistant PM on commercial construction projects in excess of $10M for a GC is required.  

You must have experience as a Project Engineer, APM, or PM managing the construction of at least one precast parking deck with a capacity of at least 250 cars.   The parking deck may have been as part of a larger project.

A 4 year construction related degree is an absolute requirement.
