We are seeking an Client Executive in our Multinational Incoming Unit.

General SummaryManages a team of 8-10 AMs (service) and IAs. Responsible for the growth (retention, expansion, and new business) and profitability of the teams book of business (typically ranging from 1M-M).

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the execution, quality and timeliness of all work performed by AMs and IAs. Manages the financial performance of the teams book of business.
  • Serves as the go-to resource for guidance, mentoring, coaching, questions, escalation and all-around support for the team.
  • Conducts team wide book assessments to identify optimum distribution of clients and associated responsibilities.
  • Maintains personal oversight of all complex and at-risk accounts.
  • Manages renewal calendar for all policies, and conducts bi-monthly reviews.
  • Drives team-wide identification of cross-sell opportunities across all accounts.
  • Participates in AMs marketing strategy meetings, reviews and negotiations as requested.
  • Provides progress reports and ongoing assessment of book/client performance to management.
  • Retains and expands existing client relationships and acquires new ones.
  • Leads the development of solutions to address the client/prospect needs. Effectively presents solutions to the client/prospect.
  • Develops a business plan for portfolio of clients and prospects to meet specific retention and growth goals.
  • Leads the service team by setting its goals, monitoring its progress, assuring service meets or exceeds client expectations, and protecting the firm from Errors & Omissions (E&O).
  • Leads communication between the client and the service team members.
  • Oversees quality of deliverables and enforcing of critical deadlines.
  • Assembles the team and provides guidance on a daily basis. Completes all goal setting, performance evaluation, compensation, and related responsibilities for all direct reports
Qualifications

MiscellaneousSkills

  • Demonstrated ability to sell/market, place and service Property & Casualty insurance.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of company-sanctioned e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheet software, as well as navigation within the Internet. Possesses fundamental knowledge of office databases and company-sanctioned presentation software.

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within an automated data management and communication environment.

  • Possesses strong client relationship management skills that reflect the core values of the CBC.

  • Maintains leadership skills that ensure a health and productive team dynamic.


Experience

  • Has extensive carrier experience with multi-line placement abilities.

  • Has a minimum of 8 years of relevant insurance industry experience.

  • Is a strong leader with demonstrated experience in team building, relationship development and negotiations.

  • Has the initiative to continually source opportunities to expand relationships and identify new sources of growth.


Knowledge

  • Holds a bachelors degree or experience equivalent to above with an emphasis in broking, and general management of insurance services professionals.

  • Holds appropriate Texas P&C license; is willing and able to obtain other out-of-state licenses as required.
