ASCO Numatics a part of Emerson Industrial Automation has an immediate need for an Outside sales representative based in the Novi, MI office. This position will be responsible for making sales calls, answering technical inquiries, and increasing sales volume growth for pneumatics valves, FRL, cylinders, and actuator products as well as obtaining end user specification for ASCO Numatics products . The successful candidate will function as a lead contact at assigned accounts to drive specification approvals, build relationships, and manage key accounts.

Responsible for handling customer technical Requests for Quotation (RFQ). This includes domestic and international RFQs. Ability to read drawings to develop bill of materials.

Responsible for arranging program support and technical service assistance relating to customer program activities. Liaison internally for interaction between customer and internal company technical support groups.











Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in fluid power. 



High School diploma and 8+ years of sales experience in the fluid power industry.



Excellent verbal and written communication skills, PC proficient, Outlook email, internet/intranet, detail oriented, ability to work well under pressure, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, strong initiative and good judgment making capabilities.
