Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants is looking for talented Restaurant Managers in the Indianapolis Area to support our growing concept!

General Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operation of the restaurant, bar, and tasting room
  • Lead the restaurant team to execute Cooper’s Hawk policies and procedures
  • Ensure outstanding service within our dining room, bar, tasting room, and host stand areas
  • Control food, beverage, and labor costs
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and schedule all quality front of house employees for location
  • Orchestrate and schedule restaurant team members as needed throughout all shifts
  • Coach team-based service through a restaurant
  • Motivate, supervise and coach front of house team members
  • Organize and maintain timely paperwork for all hired employees and applicants in accordance to employment laws
  • Train front of house team members to increase knowledge about safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles
  • Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate daily Chef Recommendations, policy updates, and general information to the restaurant team
  • Calculate inventory per company policy
  • Overseeing daily operation of the restaurant, bar, and tasting room
  • Ensuring outstanding service within our dining room, bar, tasting room, and host stand areas
  • Assisting in maintaining food, beverage, and labor costs
  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, and supervising all FOH employees
  • Ability to work opening, mid, and closing shifts at the restaurant


Requirements
Ideal candidates will have experience working in high volume restaurants, a passion for food and wine, and a dedication to quality. We are looking for team-oriented people who are dedicated to superior service and quality. 

Additionally, ideal candidates will possess the following:
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and coach team members
