Position Summary:  We are seeking an Entry Level Software Developer to join our product development team in Independence, Ohio.  This position will start out in a software support role performing duties such as product installation, software conversions, documentation, report/dashboard creation, and maintenance of a web based support portal.  Candidates that demonstrate aptitude and desire will be groomed to move into a full time development position.  We are looking for talent that learns rapidly, has the ability to work with clients and end-users to develop and understand business requirements, and has sound technical skills.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

·        Provide technical assistance and product support for a large user base ranging from PC issues to Software setup

·        Define/document implementation standards, installation procedures and training on all supported environments

·        Develop/execute processes for migrating data from legacy data sources

·        Work with customers to identify business requirements for custom reports and dashboards

·        Maintain a database of FAQ and technical documents for consistent problem solving and self-help

·        Write SQL scripts for reporting and database updates

Essential Education/Attributes/Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, MIS, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and problem solving ability.
• Demonstrate strong customer service focus and ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence.
• Works well with others and can foster a team approach for solution development.
• Ability to read/write queries using SQL for MS SQL Server or ORACLE

Background test and drug screen required. 

Essential Physical Functions:

·         Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
