gear for women, men, kids and the home – sold online, by catalog, and in nearly

opportunities for technology to revolutionize the ways in which Lands’ End

to market and control the increasing systems complexity.  Our Information Technology (IT) organization 
is transforming by assembling a new, energetic and passionate leadership team 
to drive the IT strategy, architecture and technology solutions that will fuel 
Lands’ End’s growth. 

While an Internet 
Analyst can mean different things at different companies, here at Lands’ 
End you would be working closely with various development teams on successful 
deployment from testing environments through to production, design & 
implementation of appropriate production monitoring solutions, as well as 
investigation/analysis of infrastructure initiatives & issues. We support 
our Apache/Tomcat webserver environments and are responsible for achieving and 
maintaining high availability of our systems 24x7.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate for this senior level position will have 8-10+ years of experience, enjoy problem solving, troubleshooting and investigation in cross-functional environments, take responsibility for issues, be motivated to learn and enjoy working on a high energy team in a very collaborative environment. 

Required skills 
• Extensive experience with Linux and/or Unix 
• Shell and/or Perl scripting 
• Experience with Tomcat, Apache 
• Knowledge of HTML, browser debugging techniques and web technologies 

Desired skills 
• Experience with SQL, preferably with Oracle 
• Experience with VMWare-hosted architectures 
• Experience with Agile work environments and modern application lifecycle management methodologies 
• Some familiarity with web technologies such as load balancers, firewalls, DNS, web security policies and methods, caching techniques 
• Any Java programming background is a plus 
• Exposure to job/task scheduling packages, especially Opswise 
• Experience with website and application monitoring packages 
• Automated software deployment applications such as Puppet, Chef, etc.
