GREAT opportunity -High exposure position- Leading Global Financial Service Co, seeks Bachelors degree and 3-5 years relevant experience in Audit.  Must have public accounting (big 4) audit experience or a combination public/private and financial services/banking experience in audit.

 Internal Audit division provides independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment globally.  This role participates in the timely delivery of high quality value added assurance and audit reports for a portfolio of business activities

The team covers the Financial Control functions in the region at the Corporate level. These functions include the monthly closing of the books and records, reconciliations and proofing activities, balance sheet reviews, SEC Reporting, FRB/OCC Regulatory Reporting, and SOX.

Key Responsibilities:

-Applies solid understanding of internal audit standards, policies, and local regulations to provide timely audit assurance.

-Contributes to the development of audit processes improvements.

-Applies solid understanding of how internal audit collectively integrates with line management and control functions to accomplish the objectives of the function and overall business.

-Performs audits related to Finance and Tax; project/program management; or supplier management in accordance with corporate methodologies and professional standards, including drafting of audit reports, presenting issues to the business and discussing practical solutions

Completes assigned audits within budgeted timeframes, and budgeted costs.

 Monitors the risk environment and assesses the emerging risks .

Recommends appropriate and pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues.

 Applies knowledge of key regulations to influence audit scope.

 Develops effective line management relationships 

Qualifications 

• BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience

·  + 3-5 yrs Audit experience in big 4 or combination of big 4 public/private experience in banking/financial services

·  Sound knowledge of USGAAP, IFRS, and FRB/OCC Regulatory Reporting requirements for financial institutions.  CPA, Chartered Accountant or the equivalent preferred.
