Based in Bellevue, WA, we are a booming Web Media Platform company that is disrupting the market. Our products are based on a patented media search platform that leverages speech, text and image analysis to deeply understand the content and context of streaming videos.

Currently we are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator with a strong operational and development support background to join an internationally distributed team of highly talented engineers.

What You Will Be Doing

- Deploy, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot servers/storage in corporate and production environments
- Implement and maintain the monitoring and alerting of production and corporate servers/storage
- Develop and support processes for code and content rollouts to production along with server management.
- Work with AWS tools/APIs for automation and auto-scaling.
- Responsible to the performance and availability of large, geographically dispersed web farms, MySQL clusters, and other server based applications/platforms.
- Manage backups and ensure recovery if needed
- Work with developers in selecting the correct technologies and processes to support the environment
- Manage corporate switch configurations

What You Need for this Position

- 5+ years of experience in a Linux operational support role
- Deep understanding of LAMP technologies
- Deep understanding of firewalls, routing technologies and DNS
- Strong understanding of storage technologies (SAN, NAS)
- Ability to write and maintain scripts (Perl. Python, bash, some PHP)
- Nagios
- Cacti
