We are looking for a Service Coordinator to join our IT Production Support Team to assist in managing and coordinating all production related activities with the Service Coordinator and a team of offshore resources. You will provide leadership in critical production issue resolution (both Priority 1 and Priority 2).

Positions in this function are predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.

Primary Responsibilities:

Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value
Developing pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends
Lead development team to achieve key business objectives
Leads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decision-making
Develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
Provide alternate design solutions along with project estimates
Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams
Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions. Ability to solve complex production issues
Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them
Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
Participates in the development of business strategy
Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches
Will be expected to function as a mentor for junior developers, providing assistance where needed
Will be expected to handle smaller projects completely on their own, including interactions with other teams and 3rd parties for design and architecture
Involvement with senior management in terms of supplying input for key design and architecture decisions, as well as work estimation and resource planning
Responsibility, at a high level, includes application availability, reliability and stability on a 7 by 24 by 365 basis.
Be willing to work on 24x7 on call basis.
Ensure timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding SLAs.
Ensure that the work delivered by the team is of high quality.
Work with business to prioritize production issues for resolution.
Assist Service Coordinator and Service Manager in providing management status reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Assist Service Coordinator and Service Manager in scheduling OM and work order tasks including management of customer-driven priorities.
Ensure that all documentation has been updated and that work product meets UDP / SOX compliance requirements
Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan.
Assist Service Coordinator as a liaison between offshore resources and business/ onsite IT management.
Assist in Providing estimates (or coordinate estimates from off shore) on all break/fix, and problem-management activities.
Identify application performance improvement initiatives and implement the same in consultation with the Service Coordinator and Service Manager.
Work with the Service Coordinator and Service Manager in process improvement initiatives as directed by the service manager.
Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Bachelorâs degree or High School diploma and 4 years of equivalent work experience
3+ years experience  with Java, Java Script, and Spring Hibernate Style sheet
1+ year experience supporting Cloud applications
3+ years experience with HTML
Knowledge of Unix operating system & basic commands.
Knowledge of Oracle and SQL commands
Experience with Application and Web Servers
1+ years experience Healthcare experience
Assets:

Knowledge of Agentless, sitescope, Webtrends
Knowledge of Commercialization
Previous experience working with an offshore team
