We an open-ended contract Recruiting Coordinator Job in Houston, TX with one of our most respected clients. This position requires a minimum of two years in a recruiting coordinator role. The Recruiting Coordinator will be assisting Recruiters in posting job requisitions, sourcing resumes, pre-screening candidates and scheduling interviews. This is a contract opportunity. The salary for this position is $14 to $18 per hour, depending on experience.
Recruiting Coordinator Job RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team
-Work alongside HR Coordinators/Analysts/Recruiters
-Partner with hiring managers for the full recruiting process
-Create and post positions using various resources
-Source resumes and identify qualified candidates
-Enter applications into tracking system
-Pre-screen potential candidates via phone
-Coordinate and schedule interviews by partnering with the hiring manager
-Facilitate new hire orientations/on-boarding procedures
-Verify compliance documents (i.e.- I-9, W4, etc.)
-Process background checks & drug screens
-Additional duties and special HR projects as needed
SKILLS REQUIRED:
-MUST have 2-3 years of Corporate Recruiting Coordinating experience
-MUST have experience communicating with hiring managers for feedback, start dates, and scheduling interviews
-Ability to handle multi-tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to work well independently as well as with a team
-Excellent attention to details and organizational skills
-Must be able to communicate and develop relationships with people at all levels within company
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) a PLUS, but not required
-Bachelor degree in Human Resource, Communication, Marketing preferred but not required
Software Skills:
-Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
-Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) experience a PLUS (Taleo, UltiPro, etc.)
-HRIS Systems experience a PLUS, but not required (SAP, PeopleSoft, ADP HRB, etc.)
