What you'll be doing:
- Specification, development, design and application of electrical power systems and components (transformers, switchgear, relays, power filters, suppressors, motors, variable speed drives, etc.)
- System voltages to 4160 VAC. Power levels to several MW
- Power system engineering (including trouble shooting, testing, requirements, etc.)
- Some travel possible
What you need for this position:
- Min 5 years of experience in electrical power or power related field (generation, distribution, components, power electronics, systems work, motors, EMC)
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
Extra Credit:
- Master's Degree in a Technical or Business related field
- Experienced in a heavy industrial, construction or mining environment a plus
- Familiar with embedded programming, electrical simulation or load flow software (i.e. SPICE)
- Knowledge of additional computer languages
