Lead a small team of web engineers on Ruby/Rails/Sinatra and other cool technologies. We're a division of Monster.com and are responsible for a set of platforms and applications that are used by the company to launch hundreds of websites designed to help millions of users advance their careers and education. We currently need another senior engineer to help us round out the team and are hoping you're passionate about designing and coding well-crafted, high-performance software and enjoy working with a small, dedicated team.
You won't be working with a concept or an early-stage project; it's live and services tens of thousands of users a day, while generating enough revenue to create a cash-flow positive business with 40+ employees. It's real software, doing a real job, today.

What skills/responsibilities will you need/have?
* Demonsrated experience leading small teams in agile environment
* Able to design and write well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism
* Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and strength in all the Rails fundamentals
* Interest in best practices with TDD/BDD (RSpec and Cucumber are our current tools of choice)
* Highly motivated, excellent collaboration skills
Qualifications:
* 4-year bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* 5+ years building web applications
* 2+ years managing a team of engineers
* Passionate about the Web and productivity
* Very strong initiative and creative thinking
