Tigran began his career with New York Life in the spring of 2004 as an Intern in the Los Angeles General Office. He found his niche working with the affluent pre-retiree marketplace helping him achieve 2 Executive Council’s while producing over 100 cases each year in the business. In the fall of 2006 Tigran was promoted to Partner and began to develop his team in the Pasadena area leading him to become the leading Partner and recruiter in the company for 3 straight years winning several awards including the Career Commitment Award as well as qualifying for the Gathering of Eagles each year in management. In the fall of 2009 he received his promotion to Senior Partner where Tigran continued to select and develop talented men and woman allowing him to win the prestigious “Val Ivanov” award in 2011 for the best personal performance by a Managing, Executive, or Senior Partner in the 3 key areas of Recruiting, New Organization production, and retention. Tigran resides in Glendale, CA with his wife Melissa Basmadjyan and baby boy, Robert Basmadjyan II.
