Job Description
We are looking for a Cash Receipt Clerk in Columbus, Ohio for a contract role with our client. This Clerk will use the remittance advices for cash receipts and manipulate the data to enter into the Accounts Receivable system. In this role, he or she will not have customer interaction, only communication with the internal team and the collections coordinator.

Job Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient in Excel/Microsoft Outlook
- Experienced in a transactional environment that handles high volume processing responsibilities
- Strong attention detail
- Ability to work quietly and independently
- Hardworking and focused
- Must be very comfortable navigating and utilizing excel to manipulate reports and pull the required data.
- Needs to be able to ask questions when uncertain
- Capable of receiving critical feedback on performance as any errors in their submissions can cause huge setbacks on the back end
- Must be teachable and open to constructive criticism and feedback from peers and supervisors.
- Must be able to follow directions and be patient during the learning process.
-Preferred Accounts Receivable experience
- Must have ability to problem resolution, working through a problem, finding the resolution
- Ability to ask team members questions and act as a team member in voicing opinions
