Job Description

Keswick Multi Care Center is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to work full time, days. This position offers excellent benefits and competitive pay in a pleasant, team oriented work environment.

The primary purpose of this job position is to maintain the continuous operation of the
boiler steam plant and any HVAC equipment and all other related building equipment. Provide service and preventive maintenance including opening of all boilers and cleaning said equipment for annual inspections when due.  Run the emergency generator and ensure safe and proper operation during weekly testing to include monthly load tests. Must be familiar with water treatment procedures for boilers and all HVAC systems.  Will be responsible to perform other related maintenance throughout the facility. Must maintain logs and records as required.

Job Requirements

Educational Requirements:
Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. 
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Licensure, Certification and Registration:
1st Grade MD Stationary Engineers license desired, a minimum of a 2nd Grade MD Stationary Engineers License required.

Work Orientation and Experience:

Must possess three (3) years boiler experience as an operating engineer. Healthcare experience preferred. May be required to attend seminars/training classes to improve performance and ability. Required to attend all mandatory Inservice classes held at the facility or other locations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be familiar with the daily operation and maintenance of high and low pressure boilers, pumps, water treatment. Must be familiar with all types of heating, cooling, and air conditioning systems. Able to perform general maintenance duties as required.
