Job Summary:
The Talent Manager should have at least three (3) years of experience with IT recruiting, or another form of recruiting, and have consistently demonstrated a higher level of production than the industry average. The scope of this position is both strategic and tactical. Talent Managers are experts in the IT industry and are well known throughout the marketplace. They communicate the Mission, Vision, and Values of QSI and how this relates to the values and career objectives of the potential QSI candidates. Primary objectives of this position are to develop, attract and maintain relationships with talented IT professionals.

- Excellent interviewing and presentation skills.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work effectively with Associate Talent Managers, peers, Client Manager Coordinators and Industry Leads.
- Recruit, manage, and retain IT consultants.
- Develop specialized technical knowledge (PM, BA, .Net, JAVA, data warehouse, QA/Testing, SharePoint, Agile, Infrastructure).
- Recruit candidates based on both hard & soft skills.
- Recruit both passive and active candidates.
- Perform in depth, in person, interviews that probe for both strengths and weaknesses.
- Obtain sole representation of candidates and written contingent offers.
- Manage and format resumes of owned candidates & consultants.
- Display the ability to clearly articulate the candidate’s: professional skills, motivation, and needs to the QSI management team, Coordinators and Industry Leads(sales).
- Technically qualify and verify references for all candidates.
- Negotiate appropriate pay rates and make offers to candidates.
- Thoroughly prep candidates for interviews.
- Maintain relationships with owned consultants via regular meetings and monthly calls.
- Accompany owned consultants to each new assignment.
- Maintain a minimum number of billing consultants.
- Conduct training classes for Associate Recruiters and Coordinators (see Training Responsibilities below).
- Represent QSI in a professional manner at all times.
- Utilize multiple sources to identify new technical talent: Social media, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, cold calling, etc.

- Membership in IT and community organizations
- Participation with our corporate charities(Mid Ohio Foodbank, Pelotonia, Buckeye Ranch).

- Ensure coverage at user and community groups
- IT Martini events
Monthly/AnnualGoals:
Each Talent Manager is responsible for hiring and coverage goals which directly support the Firm’s business objectives.
