PES owns and operates two domestic refineries, Girard Point and Point Breeze, the longest continuously operating refineries on the East Coast. PES processes approximately 330,000 barrels of crude oil per day, making it the largest refining complex on the Eastern seaboard.

About the job
The Systems Consultant will be responsible for maintaining multiple systems and interfacing with key leaders across the organization. Primary duties will involve application administration and reporting, as well as supporting users. Secondary duties will include custom reporting, management, and oversight, and other duties as assigned. Other duties may include:
·         Working with cross-functional teams for problem solving
·         Formulating specifications for systems enhancements.
·         Modifying/maintaining existing applications using maintenance releases and utilities from the manufacturer
·         Programing design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
·         Quality assurance review and the evaluation of new and existing software products
·         Developing and conducting training for end users in classroom or one-on-one environments

Requirements
·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related field, or relevant work experience
·         Excellent communication skills, with a strong customer orientation.
·         Experience in workflow/project/financial management systems for the energy sector, including SAP, CMMS, Primavera, among others

Preferred knowledge and/or experience
·         Experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment

Special considerations
·         Requires periodic on-call or overtime
·         Job duties are all performed in the corporate office with occasional work in the refinery
·         You will be required to apply for and obtain a TWIC identification card; having a valid TWIC will be a requirement for continued employment with PES. Additional information about TWIC is available at www.tsa.gov/twic
·         You will be required to pass a background check, drug test and physical.
