The Java Application Developer is responsible for the successful delivery of retail e-commerce applications and for producing relevant deliverables for retail clients including development, support upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications. The developer is responsible for hands-on design/coding of retail application modules as well as assisting clients in the User acceptance testing of solutions. This role will be involved in improving operational metrics, business case development & performance measurement, and will also provide functional and business process experience while participating in retail e-commerce development upgrade projects. The developer will also perform Application Architecture, Design, Enhancements and development work effort in support of the client as well as production support.
This is a full-time long term supplemental opportunity with IBM Global Business Services
