About the Job
Associated Insurance Adjusters Group, LLC is a rapidly expanding independent insurance adjusting firm seeking contract adjusters at the Senior Adjuster/General Adjuster level. Our client roster continues to grow and we need qualified local adjusters to handle daily assignments.
Duties:
- Minimum of 5 years adjusting experience.
- Be licensed as an independent insurance adjuster as required by your state and maintain the licensing through renewals
- Inspect first/third party claims, photograph scene evidence, prepare repair estimate, and write report on findings
- Provide specific and detailed information to the clients
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, claimants, contractors, vendors, attorneys and witnesses
- Complete timely reports as directed by our clients
- Purchase and utilize Xactimate 27.3 software to prepare estimates
- Purchase and utilize digital camera to provide photographs
- Purchase and utilize Microsoft Word for templates issued by AIA Group to prepare reports
- Purchase and utilize a digital recorder to obtain statements as directed by the client
- Purchase and utilize a computer, tape measure, pitch gauge, moisture detector and/or any other equipment necessary to provide documentation of damages and dimensions
- Must be able to type and prepare your own reports or utilize an independent service for dictation
- Utilize PDF files to provide paperless reporting
- Be able to legally drive to specified locations utilizing your own vehicle
- Be able to walk and move independently through areas of known damage with uneven surfacing, restricted access and possibly airborne contaminants
- Must be able to manipulate and climb a ladder to gain access to roofs of buildings of various heights
Special Notes:
- Foreign language ability is highly desired
- No relocation or equipment will be provided
- THIS IS NOT A TRAINEE POSITION. All candidates must have claims adjusting experience.
