JOB: SR ANALYST, PROGRAM

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN OUR IA, WEST DES MOINES FACILITY

Responsible for coordinating health services research requests, tracking detailed specifications, performing quality checks on final products, and assisting with pricing estimates. Also responsible for maintaining data documentation, tracking all contact information in a confidential manner, producing progress reports, and monitoring various processes and procedures. 
Specific duties include:
• Coordinating data requests, tracking request specifications, performing quality checks
• Maintaining Medicare/Medicaid data documentation
• Coordinating CMMI processes, including change requests, gathering requirements, and developing test plans
• Monitoring timeliness of data requests, updating data files/elements, changes to data processing methods, and assessing the impact of changes on existing methods
• Working with technical staff to enhance internal applications, specify new reports, test application enhancements
• Serving as resource for internal and external customers and liaison between technical and non-technical staff
• Developing enhancements to data request tracking system with technical development team

Participates in special projects as required.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent in nursing, health informatics or related field. Five or more years experience as indicated; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:
• 5+ years experience working with health services data for quality improvement, reporting or analytic purposes
• 5+ years experience working with data elements, data definitions/dictionaries, user documentation, and data collection 
• 5+ years experience with project coordination
