We are seeking a seasoned Software Platform Product Manager to lead Cisco Services’ strategic focus on software & platforms in new areas of our business, including our advertising eco-system & cloud services.
The Product Manager will own our vision, strategy & product requirements as well as joint execution with an engineering team. He/she will also own the launch, product adoption & business outcomes of next generation software service-enabled and Cloud based products within our Smart Web Community. The Product Manager will have maximum freedom & resources to innovate, drive growth & change the landscape of the enterprise Web software space. This is a senior, highly visible role that brings together elements of strategic thinking, product management & general business management. He/she will work as part of our Smart Web Community Management Group (Cisco Support Community) & partner closely with engineering & marketing teams as well as strategic partners outside Cisco.
Success in this role will ultimately drive Cisco’s transformation into a software & service centric company & help create the foundation for Cisco’s next growth era.

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field from a leading university or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of recent & direct Web/ Cloud or SaaS software product management experience, either B2C or B2B
- Strong expertise in owning the product management life cycle from product inception, defining business requirements, product strategy, road maps, builds, and product release
- Previous experience with Developer Platforms, Developer Web Community, or On-line Support Sites highly desired
- Experience with Web software products in the advertising and/or cloud service space is a significant plus
- Positive, entrepreneurial attitude
- Willingness to work cross-functionally, collaboratively & cross-culturally; a true team player
