Marketing Coordinator
Description:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will have the ability to execute the attraction’s marketing plan to drive the visitor numbers and with a particular focus on annual pass sales and repeat visits.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day marketing activity, in particular the production of marketing collateral of leaflets, promotional materials, and on-site signage. You will manage annual pass communication to drive repeat visits to the attraction and measure effectiveness of this activity. As one of the brand custodians, you will ensure all activity is executed in line with the LDC brand guidelines. You will also maintain the LDC Chicago website with relevant content and increase online traffic through social network sites. In addition, you will support the PR function with internal communication and on-site events from planning through to execution.

Responsibilities:
- Execute all marketing collateral, including leaflets, coupons and promotional materials, from artwork to print and ensure all activity is in line with brand guidelines
- Execute all on-site signage in line with brand guidelines and ensure sign off through Brand Manager
- Drive and measure awareness of annual pass through online and on-site communication
- Ensure content of the LDC Chicago website is up to date and in line with brand strategy and requirements in association with the Marketing Manager
- Manage the site’s social media outreach, ensuring daily updates and interactions across all key platforms
- Execute all on-site signage in line with brand guidelines and ensure sign off through Brand Manager
- Assist on all consumer promotions including artwork changes, ticket requests and updating contracts
- Ensure all marketing activity is briefed internally and work with Operations team to address any issues
- Undertake Schools and Groups marketing activity, including direct mail, advertising and online communication in association with the Trade Sales & Marketing Manager
- Work with the Trade Sales & Marketing Manager on tactical marketing activity and execute production of Trade Marketing collateral such as point of sale, leaflets and referral schemes
- Manage leaflet distribution through external outlets and monitor effectiveness of activity
- Work with the Marketing Manager to support on-site press events from planning to execution and all internal communication, including newsletters
- Review competitor marketing activity and report monthly on any new activity, threats or opportunities.
- Represent LDC Chicago at relevant off-site events/ Trade shows and ensure effective communication of the attraction
- Build and maintain databases of email addresses to use for various communications and ensure regular communication to annual pass holders to drive repeat visits.
- Ad hoc duties and reports as requested by the Marketing Manager
Job Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or professional qualification equivalent. Marketing or Communications background is preferred.
- Experience of working within a leisure attraction environment or 12 months experience of marketing within a professional organization
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident copy writer and able proof-reader
- Budget & project management skills
- Good presentation skills and the confidence to present to all levels of the business
- A natural team player with a confident, assertive but approachable personality
