Preferred Skills
· Previous maintenance experience in food processing facility
· Experience in sanitary welding
· Experience reading wiring diagrams and technical literature
· Good communication skills
· Clean driving record
· Experience with industrial computer controllers
· Experience with natural gas burner systems
· Experience with boilers
· Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new conditions and circumstances
· Experience with variable frequency drives programmable logic controllers
· Good organization skills
· Some experience with power train equipment: gear reducers, chains, motors, gears, sprockets etc…
· Ability to troubleshoot basic and advanced electrical systems
· Experience with temperature controls
· Experience with maintenance documentation
· Bilingual
Role and Responsibility
· Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of industrial machines
· Perform and document preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial machines
· Communicate and document all repairs performed
· Communication of all needed parts and supplies to management in a timely manner
Qualifications
· Minimum of ten years experience as plant maintenance mechanic
· Strong electrical controls background
· Driver’s license
· Ability to work swings and graveyard shift
