Tasks to include:
* Working with project and business resources to ensure functional and technical specifications and designs fulfill the requirements quality criteria
* Participation in requirements and design review
* Mapping business requirements, functional and technical specifications to test scenarios, cases, and scripts
* Monitoring and communicating test execution results
* Following current processes, standards and practices to develop, test and implement quality assurance operational procedures
* Management of data environment and configuration requirements with business, functional and technical analysts, as well as development and test teams.
Required qualifications:
* Experience working on a touchscreen POS preferred - any retail experience is a bonus
* Strong test methodology experience
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to query a database
* Quality Center experience preferred but not required
* Ability to work well under pressure and during times of extreme ambiguity
This contract position is expected to be 11 months in duration.
Our client is a signature company of the Pacific Northwest looking for an IT Quality Assurance Analyst candidate with previous store manager experience on the Simphony POS register. This candidate needs to have technical aptitude but doesn't necessarily need testing experience. Basic computer knowledge is a must.
