JOB: FOOD SAFETY ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Sacramento, CA
Our client is a leading provider of laboratory services to food manufacturers throughout the US, and is seeking a Food Safety Administrator to support the food safety department through customer service, document review, scheduling, and program management.

Your Role with the Company:
  • Manage daily administration of HACCP and GMP audits, including scheduling, quotes, contracts, report review and distribution, certifications, and billing.
  • Record and edit written HACCP and GMP audit reports; distribute reports to customers as necessary. Coordinate customer feedback for review by senior leadership.
  • Manage electronic filing system for all certificates, contracts, billing, reports, and communication.
  • Maintain on-hand stock of training manuals and certificates for all public and on-site training courses.

Background Profile:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Communications, or related field.
  • Exposure to SQF, BRC , or other GFSI-approved quality management schemes.
  • Two to five years of quality management experience in a food manufacturing facility with knowledge of HACCP and GMP procedures.
  • Strong administrative, scheduling, and computer skills.
  • Reside within a commutable distance from Sacramento.
