Will provide board level to system level technical support for communications technologies and evaluate, troubleshoot, and modify electronics in preparation for delivery to customers, including at customer sites. Will develop and integrate LabVIEW test scripts that manage communications device interfaces with test equipment. Will test and integrate equipment according to test plans/procedures and interface with customers on technical matters and maintain a highly credible and open relationship. Will provide technical documentation, test reports, and training material.
Should be familiar with US government and their unique requirements.
*2-5+ years with BS in designated Engineering or related field.
*Demonstrate proficient LabVIEW development skills, including RF/communications applications.
*Have previous onsite customer support/troubleshooting.
*Possess excellent written and oral communications skills for interfacing with sponsor’s technical representatives, as well as with other engineers in the organization.
*Have knowledge and experience with commercial wireless communications technologies (GSM, CDMA, terrestrial and satellite systems, Bluetooth, 802.11 standards, etc.).
*2-5 years experience in a similar technical role.
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
