Job_Other_Compensation: Job Description: HEAD START EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Scope: Manage non-profit organization under the general oversight of the Board of Directors. Provide leadership to the organization and staff resulting in provision of the highest quality services to low income children and families. Collaborate with community agencies, develop volunteer support and sustain community partnerships. Preferred Professional Qualifications: BS/BA in Early Childhood Education Special Education, Human Services, or related fields w/some graduate work + 5 years related work experience. Supervision, non-profit management, and leadership skills including experience working w/a Board. Experience managing budget of $1M/yr+, grant writing and fundraising background.
