About the Job
Venable’s Baltimore office is in need of an experienced, innovative, and collaborative Information Technology professional to assess client and legal staff requirements and provide customized solutions to integrate with the firm’s desktop applications. Responsibilities include creating macros, templates and styles to augment firm processes and procedures, identifying 3rd party functionality that enhances the firms document production needs and integrating multiple systems and application components to enhance workflow.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in software application installation and integration, a minimum of one year experience in MS-Office application integration/customization, previous project management experience, an understanding of .NET Framework, and experience with the Visual Studio tools and technologies. Effective communication skills and the ability to navigate a fast-paced work environment and coordinate multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business objectives are also essential.
The Document Automation Engineer reports to the Application Services Manager.
