Job: Business Intelligence Manager

Location: Seattle, WA

Are you interested in directly affecting the direction of Amazon's Seller and Sales business? Are you fearless and focused when faced with large and complex datasets? The North America Sales Operations team is an integral part of the North America Sales team, providing business intelligence to drive changes with actionable analytics. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who's passionate to lead a team to improve processes using data that will help us measure every area of the Seller business. You will work with your team to analyze and solve real world problems and build metrics and business use-cases around key programs and initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly analytical and possess a strong passion for improving process, setting high standards, razor-sharp accuracy and staying ahead of a dynamic and fast growing business. Key Activities
- Retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources into a digestible and actionable format to drive change and new initiatives using analysis
- Develop Seller and Customer segmentation analyses, Sales trend analyses, Sales pipeline analyses, and correlation analyses across multiple programs and product lines
- Present high-level analytics to key stakeholders and executives
- Monitor and refine existing metrics by partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities
- Lead, design and develop automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisionsSupport cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of analytics, projects and initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Finance, Statistics or related discipline
  • 5+ years of leading teams to drive the technical design and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions
  • 5+ years of professional experience in web analytics, business analysis or comparable analytics position
  • 5+ years relational database and SQL skills in Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 or other database platform
  • Experience in designing and delivering large cross functional custom reporting systems by managing technical teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders


  • MBA preferred
  • Experience supporting analytics in a B2B Sales Organization
