Description
As a member of the Special Operations’ Birthday team your duties will include but are not limited to providing birthday guests with exemplary birthday experiences. Handling cash, credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, and voucher transactions. Assisting guests with questions and providing directions to our visitors. Cashing in and out accurately each work shift. Maintaining Legoland Discovery Center standards by keeping your work space and all food areas clean and organized. Serve and prepare made to order items in accordance with daily production list and standards set by management.

Cashing in and out accurately each work shift. Maintaining Legoland Discovery Center standards by keeping your work space and all food areas clean and organized. Serve and prepare made to order items in accordance with daily production list and standards set by management.
Responsibilities:
- Providing guest with the highest quality customer service
- Preparing the highest quality food for guests of the café
- Keeping the birthday party areas as clean and sanitary as possible.
- Ensure that you are a knowledgeable ambassador of and encouraging the team to live and breathe the Merlin Way.
- Handling food and models at birthday party stations.
- Handling cash, credit, debit, and gift card transactions.
- Answering questions and providing direction to guests on a consistent basis.
- Keeping work food contact areas and organized, including sweeping, wiping down areas with cleaning solution and following closing procedures for equipment maintenance.
- Cashing in and out accurately on a consistent basis.
- Serve and prepare made to order items, including, but not limited to pizza, hot dogs, coffee, drinks, salads, and pastas.
- All other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Cash handling experience preferred or be capable of learning necessary skills.
- Affable personality with strong customer service skills.
- Food preparation experience preferred or be capable of learning necessary skills and follow all food sanitation standards.
- Well-versed with basic computer mechanics. Knowledgeable of Windows interface and basic math skills.
- Able to perform a multitude of daily tasks including lifting up to 25lbs, bending, reaching, standing for extended periods of time, and dealing with stressful situations.
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
