Take that first step up the career ladder with Halliburton as an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will use your mechanical design skills to immediately support several design projects related to drill bit components. You will also be trained on both CFD (computational fluid dynamics) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to both design and support fixed cutter technology projects as well as optimization for our operations group. You will have the opportunity to:
•Assist in the analysis, modification and design of products and services for drill bit technology.
•Put your basic knowledge of materials, components, and their applications to work.
•Participate in testing and test results analysis.
•Assist in handling field and manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services.
•Develop and utilize your project management skills in the organization and execution of project assignments as necessary.

A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline is required. Certification as an Engineer-In-Training is desirable.
