JOB DESCRIPTION
FINANCE-Assoc-Int/VP w/Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Miami, FL. Dvlp personal relationships w/research & field consultants at target firms. Communicate daily re GS asset mgmt inv strategies & organizational questions, positioning our prods in the context of each firm's inv preferences. Articulate inv prod features, tech characteristics & risks in the context of approp benchmarks for equity, fixed income, & alt invs. Reqs: Bach deg (US or equiv) in Bus Admin, Fin, Econ or rel field + 6yrs of exp in the job offered or in a rel multi-asset mgmt firm. Prior wrk exp must incl 6yrs: Wrking for a global, multi-asset class, inv mgmt firm w/spec exp servicing institutional investors; Articulating inv prod features, tech characteristics & risks in the context of approp benchmarks for equity, fixed income, & alt inv & position prods as approp for var institutional client types. Prior wrk exp must incl 2yrs: Preping Requests for Proposals (RFP's) for dom & internat'l fundamental equity, quant equity, fixed income (incl high yield & emerging mkt debt), & private equity, hedge funds & real estate; Interacting w/inv consulting organizations providing product updates & responses to consultant data requests; Utilizing know of regs governing inv vehicles approp for ERISA, 501(c)3, public pension, & Taft-Hartley plans as well as defined contribution plans; Dvlpng presentations using Word, Excel, & PowerPoint; Utilizing know of consultant dbases incl Mercer GIMD, Investworks, Evestment incl competitive analysis metrics. Prior wrk exp must incl 6 mos: Functioning as the primary relationship mgr leading meetings w/research & field consultants at target firms communicating asset mgmt investment strategies.
