This position is located in Elk Horn, IA.
We are seeking a motivated professional to join our company as a Staff Accountant, as we continue to grow our operations across the country. This position will be responsible for a variety of duties including providing accounting support to the company’s field divisions, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, as well as ad hoc divisional analysis and reporting support. We are looking for someone who is great with people, has an advanced Microsoft Excel skillset, and works well in both team environments and solo projects. The position will be based in MV’s support center in Elk Horn, Iowa.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- B.A. or B.S. in a business related degree (finance, accounting, economics, etc.).
- Relevant work experience in finance and/or accounting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated experience in being organized, meeting deadlines, and multitasking.
- Experience with general ledger software packages - Lawson a plus.
Salary: $40K
