JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Classification: Direct Hire
Populus Group seeks a Software Quality Assurance Engineer in New York, NY to perform software, database module, system, and system integration testing utilizing SAS, PERL, JAVA, SQL, shell scripting, Netezza, Oracle, SQL Developer, Starteam, JIRA, HP Quality Center, and Informatica; write PERL scripts for data migration between databases; write and execute test plans and functional test cases; prepare and analyze system integration test cases; conduct performance tuning; perform requirement gathering, design, development and provide production support; and prepare pattern validation queries with written SQLs. Must have Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, any Engineering field, or foreign equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience in the job offered or any substantially similar position.
