Job: Software Development Engineer

Job Description: Our client is seeking a Software Development Engineer for their Seattle, Washington (WA) location. You will influence the subsystem design and help build a team culture around practices that are critical to a quality product. Your work would be cross-functional, involving those from operations, transportation, IT, and legal teams. Basic Qualifications: Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree (or related technical discipline) 3 years of strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C++ and/or Java) Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree a plus Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases Experience with Perl or other scripting languages a plus Experience in optimization mathematics (linear programming, nonlinear optimization) Experience on a UNIX or Linux platform Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly More Info and Application
