Take a lead role to help patients, families and community members receive vital services in an immediate “Registry” opportunityat Carroll Hospital Center! Our progressive 193-bed acute care facility seeks highly, resourceful Maryland-licensed Social Workersto join us for a minimum of 24 hours per 4 week period, including some weekend coverage.

Serving inpatient, outpatient and emergency department populations, duties involve providing advise regarding social issues as well as arrangingdischarge/aftercare, foster care, nursing home placement, financial assistance, etc.   Demonstrating effective communication and positive customer relations skills, these well organized professionals will also assist with program planning and development for specific service populations.

To qualify, you must be PC proficient and possess:

·         MSW Degree

·         Maryland-Licensed LCSW-C

·         Up to 2 years experience required; 18 months in acute inpatient settingpreferred

·         American Heart Association CPR for healthcare provider certification required


·         Effective communication, critical analysis and organizational skills
